When it came to selecting a collection to digitize, rubber ducks were the obvious choice. This was a collection I had recently started but already had enough variety to explore creatively. The collection was organized into six distinct categories, providing an easy identification system for the different types of ducks.

The concept behind digitizing the rubber duck collection was to evoke a sense of nostalgia, bringing back childhood memories of bath time fun. To reinforce this connection, the ducks were placed in a digital "bathtub" surrounded by bubbles, creating a playful, immersive atmosphere. A fun and bubbly typeface was chosen to complement the lighthearted theme, further tying the collection to its playful origins.

INSIGHTS

The project placed a strong emphasis on organization and categorization, ensuring that the ducks were systematically grouped for easy navigation. It also focused on prototyping and utilizing Figma to implement filtering features, creating a seamless user interface. This process highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance between visual appeal and functionality in a digital environment.
